Our Process

Digitize Once. Share Everywhere. View Remotely.

BlueReview’s process is built for offshore and industrial environments where access is limited, schedules change, and documentation needs to be clean, defensible, and usable. We capture the asset, process the data, and deliver a digital twin your team can review remotely for planning, maintenance, training, and decision-making.

Step 1: Scope + Quote

We start by defining exactly what you need and what “done” looks like.

We’ll confirm:

  • Asset type (vessel, platform, facility, terminal, pipeline corridor, coastal infrastructure)
  • Use case (planning, maintenance documentation, safety walkthroughs, marketing/charter, stakeholder review)
  • Deliverables (digital twin link, photo log, annotated PDF, exports, drone imagery add-on)
  • Timeline (standard vs expedited)
  • Access constraints (escort, badging, safety orientation, confined spaces, offshore transfers)

Output: Written scope + pricing + schedule.

Step 2: Mobilization + Site Coordination

We coordinate the boring stuff that makes projects succeed.

Typical coordination items:

  • Site access requirements (badging, orientation, PPE)
  • Safety requirements and work windows
  • Escort needs or restricted areas
  • Vessel schedule (on/off charter, port calls, weather contingencies)
  • Capture plan (sequence, decks/levels, priorities)

Output: Capture plan + confirmed site schedule.

Step 3: Reality Capture Onsite

We capture your asset with repeatable methods designed for consistency.

Core capture options:

  • LiDAR-based 3D digital twin / virtual tour (measurement-ready walkthrough)
  • LiDAR photogrammetry / spatial model (as scoped for planning needs)
  • FAA-certified drone imaging (adds exterior context, elevations, access routes, site conditions)

We focus on coverage, continuity, and visibility of critical spaces, equipment, and access paths.

Output: Complete field capture set (organized for processing).

Step 4: Processing + Model Build

This is where raw capture becomes something your team can actually use.

We produce:

  • Digital twin build + navigation flow that makes sense
  • Clean labeling and structure (decks, rooms, areas, zones)
  • Photo organization and indexing (by area/system, as scoped)
  • Optional measurement/annotation setup (when enabled)

Output: First-pass deliverables ready for QA.

Step 5: Quality Control + Client Review

We run QC for alignment, completeness, and usability, then you get a review window.

Standard delivery includes:

  • QC pass for completeness and clarity
  • Client review for up to 2 edits (clarity, labeling, organization)

Output: Final deliverables packaged and shareable.

Step 6: Delivery + Hosting

We deliver your digital twin and documentation in a format built for teams, not chaos.

Delivery includes:

  • Shareable digital twin link
• Private sharing options (password-protected when required
  • Organized documentation package (photo log / annotated PDF, if included)
  • Optional client portal structure for multi-asset programs

Hosting options (common):

  • Annual or monthly hosting extensions for long-term access
  • Controlled sharing for sensitive assets

Step 7: Updates, Rescans + Program Support

Assets change. Your documentation should keep up.

Rescan options:

  • Targeted updates after refits, repairs, or upgrades
  • Scheduled repeat scans for lifecycle documentation
  • Change tracking approach (baseline + updates)

Program support (optional):

  • Biennial documentation cycles for predictable billing
  • Priority scheduling options for recurring clients

Turnaround

Standard: Typically within 5 business days from capture (access/weather dependent).
Expedited: 2 business days available when schedule allows.
Edits: Includes 2 rounds of edits focused on labeling/organization/clarity.

What We Need From You

To keep projects smooth (and avoid last-minute chaos), we typically request:

  • Asset location + site contact
  • Access requirements (badging/orientation/escort)
  • Desired areas to capture (priority list)
  • Work window / operational constraints
  • Any existing drawings/photos (optional but helpful)
  • Preferred delivery format and internal stakeholders

What You Get

Decision-grade deliverables designed to reduce offshore exposure and speed up planning:

  • Measurement-ready digital twins / 3D virtual tours
  • Remote stakeholder review capability
  • Maintenance planning and repair procurement support
  • Training/safety walkthrough support
  • Organized documentation packages for continuity
